Participatory budget in Lithuanian schools: what is it and where to begin?

This practical guide explains the impact of participatory budgeting on students and what to know to organize it in Lithuanian schools.

The publication is for anyone who wants to try participatory budgeting (PB) and learn how to make important decisions together with students. It is based on 24 PB initiatives developed in 20 Lithuanian schools. Students debated both in person and virtually about the needs of their school, learned how financial decisions are made in schools, and decided together how to spend part of the school budget.
