Including the underrepresented

A paper presenting methods and strategies for ensuring the inclusion of traditionally underrepresented communities in participatory processes.

This resource suggests practical ways to include members of communities that experience structural inequalities and exclusion from decision-making. These methods are designed to tackle inclusion in the various stages of planning and delivery of a participatory process, from identification and outreach to these communities, to incentivizing participation and creating fair dynamics in deliberation.
