The Alberta Narratives Project

This guide provides practical guidance for climate and energy communicators about what language works well and what language might pose an obstacle for communicating with any specific group.

It showcases a community-based initiative that is developing conversation spaces around just transition that reflect "the shared values and identities of Albertans" who depend on fossil fuels for employment is therefore helping to find common ground across very different positions. This generates a core narrative that can be applied for general public engagement.
