Ioana Sirca Belintan, People and Operations Manager

Ioana (pronounced you-wanna) brings to People Powered expertise in fundraising, program management and organizational policy, as well as workplace organizing. She supports People Powered as it grows and develops as a young organization.

Ioana was previously a major programs manager at the New Economics Foundation, a progressive UK think-and-do-tank focusing on changing the rules of the economy so it works for people and planet.

Before that, she worked in fundraising and grant management for the Prince's Regeneration Trust supporting community wealth building through heritage regeneration. Ioana has a master’s of science degree in comparative politics (democracy) from the London School of Economics and has been involved in grassroots campaigning work on migration and climate issues throughout the years.

In her spare time, Ioana enjoys keeping active, cooking, spending quality time with friends and traveling with her family.
