Emiliano Arena holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Buenos Aires, and a specialization in management and control of public policies from the Latin American College of Social Sciences (FLACSO), Argentina.
He worked for the national program of participatory budgeting (PB) run by the Argentinian president’s chief of staff, and coordinated the PB process for the National University of General Sarmiento.
Currently, he is the coordinator of monitoring and evaluation at the Center of Public Policy Implementation for Equity and Growth (CIPPEC). Emiliano’s research focuses on participatory budgeting, planning, monitoring and evaluation, urban social policies, governance and open government.
