Alisa Aliti Vlasic, Project Manager (Joint Position with Coglobal)
/Dubrovnik, Croatia
Alisa has been an active advocate for citizen engagement and participatory budgeting in Croatia since 2010, with experience in capacity building, designing tools & methods, and implementing PB in local municipalities and schools. After her experience working in public administration within a city development agency, she profiled in participatory democracy, project management, and strategic planning.
As a validated URBACT lead expert, she has supported European cities in creating their Integrated Action Plans managing multi-stakeholder groups. She is also a validated trainer for the Council of Europe’s Leadership Academy Programme and European Label of Governance Excellence (ELoGE), supporting cities and municipalities in achieving good governance. She was a proud mentor of the People Powered Rising Stars Mentorship Program and a member of the PB Practitioners Board.
Currently, as a joint staff member based at the organization Coglobal, Alisa manages the implementation of the capacity-building activities of the Nets4Dem project, which is establishing a European-wide network of advocates, practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in the field of participatory and deliberative democracy.
She is a proud mother of four and is very passionate about participatory processes, good governance, and the power of citizens, with a focus on the Southeast Europe region.
