40 global innovators selected for Climate Democracy Action program

Locations and number of participants in the first cohort

Forty advocates and policymakers chosen from a very competitive slate of 215 applicants have been selected for the new Climate Democracy Action program. The participants, who hail from 22 countries, will receive intensive support to plan and implement climate-related participatory programs.

A school participatory budgeting pilot finds that what students want from their schools is much the same, from Hungary to the U.S. This is the third post in a series focusing on one of the “pairs” in our mentorship program: an American mentor coaching a team in Hungary.

People Powered is looking for a community building director and communications intern to help us grow the collective power of organizations and advocates supporting participatory democracy. Location is remote and both positions are paid. We welcome applications from candidates anywhere in the world.
