Digital Democracy Accelerator (DDA):
As innovations in artificial intelligence, government services and digital technology continue to accelerate, digital policies are becoming increasingly important in people’s lives. People Powered is launching the Digital Democracy Accelerator to convene and support a cohort of 12 government and civil society innovators as they work to launch participatory programs for digital policymaking.
With this program, we aim to inspire innovative solutions that effectively engage citizens in making decisions about digital policy, with a particular focus on issues related to security, privacy, equity and ethics. We hope to make digital policymaking more inclusive and participatory, resulting in solutions that address people’s needs and are easily understood by the public.
The initial program focuses on providing support to 12 Europe-based innovators, with a special focus on Eastern European countries; however, mentors can be based anywhere in the world.

Over the next three years, People Powered will convene, support and monitor four cohorts of 15 government and civil society leaders as they launch up to 60 participatory programs to shape climate policy.
