Organized under the theme "radical democracy," this summer school will bring together leading experts, researchers, graduate students, community leaders, activists and practitioners for a week of workshops, discussion, dialogue, community events and field trips. Together, they will explore what it means to radically re-imagine, research and practice democracy in their communities and in everyday life.  

The host will be the Community Engaged Research Initiative (CERi) at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada, and Participedia is the sponsor. In addition to the weeklong, in-person “school,” two online sessions will be held on May 18 and 25.

The application deadline is May 15, and the fee varies depending on your status and the amount of time you plan to attend.
