Participatory Budgeting (PB) in New York City launched 10 years ago, and it has become one of the world’s leading models of participatory democracy. As our democracy faces new threats, it is time to think bigger about the role of PB. Join the Office of New York City Council Member Shahana Hanif during the city’s PB Vote Week to discuss new visions and innovations in PB from around the world. Learn how different cities and countries use PB to address climate change, pursue social justice, and expand democracy!
