The objective of this seminar is to bring together political leaders from various cities to discuss the challenges and possibilities in implementing participatory processes in local governments. Explore how citizen participation can create opportunities to strengthen municipal management.

Learn the experiences of different actors involved in participation projects, bringing together representatives from the executive and legislative branches who have already promoted participation initiatives, as well as experts from Brazil and abroad. Citizens participating in Citizen Assemblies will also share their unique perspectives. Additionally, the seminar will address themes directly related to Goals 5 (Gender Equality) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing the importance of citizen participation in promoting gender equality and developing more inclusive and sustainable cities.
