In 2023, the Global Forum will return to the Western Hemisphere for the first time since 2012.
To be held in Mexico City, it will examine what the city-state’s new constitution means for democracy around the world and dig deep into the promise and perils of direct democracy for Latin America.
Organized by a consortium led by Mexico’s Independent Electoral Institute, the event will also examine the infrastructure and other support required to protect democracy.
